Family Farm
Our Story
Homestead Farm is a Registered Egg Grading Station located just 1 km from the Holland Marsh in Newmarket, Ontario. We started grading eggs in 1978 when our parents, Tom & Margaret Flack, wanted to supply fresh eggs to local stores.
In 1983, we had the opportunity to purchase an existing Registered Egg Grading Station in Barrie, which increased our customer base and egg supply. Then in May 1986, we built our own facilities right here on the farm - designed by our father.
Our grading machine allows us to handle each egg individually, ensuring quality inspection on every single one. We grade eggs from local farms and those in the Elmira/Millverton area.
