Information you share with us

We use contact and business details, delivery information, messages, order requests and account records to respond to you, review wholesale applications, manage access, fulfill orders and maintain billing records. Newsletter signups provide an email address for farm updates.

Signing in with Google

If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides your account identifier, verified email address and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture. Our authentication service stores this information to identify you, connect your sign-in to your Homestead account and secure your session.

Google sign-in does not give Homestead access to your Gmail messages, contacts, Google Drive files or Google password. It does not automatically approve a wholesale account or grant staff access.

Services that process information

Authorized farm staff and service providers process information needed to operate the website and farm services. These include Supabase for authentication and account storage, Vercel for hosting and site performance, Google for sign-in and farm workbooks, Resend for website emails, and QuickBooks for customer and billing records. Information may be processed outside Canada.

Google account information is used for account access and security, not advertising or sale. Information submitted separately for ordering or billing is used to provide those services.

Cookies and website activity

Sign-in uses cookies to maintain and secure your session. The website also uses Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights to understand visits and performance. Hosting and authentication services process technical information, including request and sign-in logs, to operate and protect the service. Embedded Google Maps and links to other websites are subject to those services’ privacy policies.

Your choices and stored records

You can sign out, choose email and password instead of Google, or remove Homestead’s connection in your Google Account settings. Disconnecting Google does not delete your Homestead account or previous orders.

Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, to close your account, or to stop farm updates. Account information remains stored until it is removed; some order, billing, security or backup records may remain where needed for ongoing services, recordkeeping or legal obligations. We will explain any limits when handling your request.
